ACER Paintball Club Mid-season Stats Report
Total Points
So I am in the lead, as anyone would be if they never misses a game. But there’s a close race for second, and total points is always a big part of the Man of the Year Award.
TW still holds second place, and he’s done it with a lot of extra points and a strong bonus count (16 more bonus than next player, despite playing fewer games).
Dano is in third place and he’s got there with some very strong play, of late. Patty V is in fourth, and he’s only played 5 gamedays! Hojo fifth, Brad is sixth, AA, Ben, Matt, Jesse.
Winning %
Ignoring the handful of people with 100% winning that have only played one gameday, the current lead is held by Pat and Hojo, who are tied with %75.
Dano has 72%, Beau 71%, and Brett has 70%.
Tim and Lukas are tied with %67
Strong play, people, impressive numbers. Neither pimpin’ nor winning are easy.
Avg. Bon/Round
An interesting stat, I feel, this one tracks how many more than 1 point you get per round. Everyone gets 1 point for every round you play, and additional bonus points are had for grabbing and scoring flags, captaining, lethality, etc.
Gianni is averaging a whopping 2.19 bonus points per round! Amazing, surely to do with captaining, flag grabbing and other bold moves. Epp, Gianni’s rival, is getting 1.90 points a round, also amazing.
Hojo is at 1.84, Tim at 1.81, and Robert averages 1.80 bonus per round. Strong players who make stuff happen and actively participate in the ACER games.
POD Awards
Two players have won the POD twice this year: Pat and Hojo. Will anyone get three? Four? Sure to be a factor in the Player of the Year Award.
Extras are a player’s total flag grabs, flag scores, defensive shut outs, and captain points. Those who score usually win more, it’s just that simple.
FGs
Total Flag grab leader? Me. Tied for second with 8? Tim W and Pat! Next place are Hojo and Brad with 7 each. Ben has 5, Ron, Branton and Ethan have 3.
FSs
Flag Score Leader is me with 8, Tim has 6, Ben 5, Pat and Hojo 4. Ethan, Matt, EMC, and Greg all have 2.
DSO
Shut outs might count a different set of skills? Some to do with leadership, communication, etc. I have 7, Pat, Brad, Jesse all have 5, AA, Gianni, Dano have 4, Tim, Ben, Hojo, Matt, Beau and Tyler all have 3.
Captains
Ahh, our captains. We love you guys. Brad has led us 4 times, Tom 3, and Gabe, AA, Gianni, Dano, TW, Beau, Epp and Brett have each taken 2 turns at the helm.
Avg. Extra/Round
I’ve managed to average .53 extra points per round, and almost equally successful have been Hojo, Gianni and Ron, with .50. Pat averages .45 points, and Brad .43. Tim and Branton: .42, and RC and Stephan are getting .40 extra points per round. These folks are grabbing, scoring, captaining or shutting out almost once every two rounds they play. Big time players.
